Detective Fiction: The Collector's Guide
Published in Hardcover by Scolar Pr (September, 1994)
Average review score:

An excellent guide for collectors of first edition mysteriesThis book is an excellent guide for those who want a complete listing of known published works by most detective fiction writers. Each authors section discusses when the books were printed and textually describes many of the dust jackets. There is also a section in colour showing many of the rare dust jackets as well as the covers of rare books usually found without dust jackets. I have found this book to be a frequently used resource. In addition, many book sellers now cite this as "Cooper and Pike" in their listings to confirm first edition points.

Devil's Advocate
Published in Hardcover by Aperient Press (01 November, 2001)
Average review score:

Devil of a good time...A vast majority of Coop's art featured in Devil's Advocate are, in actuality, posters the artist was commissioned to create for various rock shows and punk concerts, with the challenging task of grabbing the attention of casual passers-by and hopefully get them to attend whatever concert or event they're promoting.
In this task you'll discover that Coop's posters more than succeed in catching your eye, in fact, they demand you stop and look!
Such posters include aliens wrestling with curvy female astronauts, a sleek Creature from the Black Lagoon, babes with hot rods, tiki temptresses and Betty page-esque hotties flirting at you from the poster in luscious color.
From another artist, all of this could of come across as vulgar and cheap, but instead, it oozes raw sexuality and is just a heck of a lot of fun. Don't miss out.

Dino-Songs (Activity Library/Audio Cassette and Book)
Published in Hardcover by Random House (Audio) (April, 1988)
Average review score:

Little dino lovers & their parents will LOVE this!Random House should reissue "Dino Songs" IMMEDIATELY! When our son was very young he was crazy about dinosaurs so we collected all sorts of items. We inherited this book and tape from a cousin and it immediately became a favorite with the whole family. The songs are clever, informative, and make for a very fun sing-a-long. Ten years later, the tunes come back to us with ease. Parents' will love it as much as the kids!

Divine Love and Wisdom and Divine Providence
Published in Hardcover by Swedenborg Foundation (April, 2003)
Average review score:

Everyday spiritualityThese books are a wonderful guide to how this life relates to the next and how God directs all life. They answer questions about why bad things happen, the purpose of life, and order in the universe, in a philosophical way that is practical and easy to understand. If you are looking for something deeper than scientific answers, I highly recommend Divine Love and Wisdom and Divine Providence!

Published in Hardcover by Grove Press (April, 1995)
Average review score:

Beyond graphics into brillianceThe best of coopers work is not in the novels but here in his powerful, utterly original poems and short verse pieces. Where readers might become bored or confused or unsettled at coopers run on in his long works, here is coopers intelligence in tight, detailed emotion. A perfect read.

Dreams and Wishes: Essays on Writing for Children
Published in School & Library Binding by Margaret K. McElderry (May, 1996)
Average review score:

The musings of a highly intelligent mindSusan Cooper is probably best known for writing the superb Dark Is Rising sequence of five children's novels, one of which garnered the Newbery Medal and another a Newbery Honor. This book, however, is not fiction but about fiction, at least primarily. The essays and speeches contained here discuss experiences from Cooper's own childhood (in World War II England), the piercing nostalgia brought on by finding a new copy of a long-beloved though mostly-forgotten storybook, the author's experiences with the theater (and friendship with Jessica Tandy), and many other topics. The tone is often introspective, but never arrogant, and the book can be read in segments or in a single sitting. Definitely worthwhile for anyone with the slightest interest in children's literature . . . there is far more here than one might expect.
